Notification for Empanelment of Agencies
Kudumbashree National Resource Organisation (NRO) invites proposals from qualified agencies for empanelment to provide technical services for resource development and standardized training materials in various formats. The empanelled agencies will support Kudumbashree NRO in its work with National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) under the domains of PRI-CBO Convergence and Enterprises.
Scope of Work:
The selected agencies will provide services in the following areas:
Photo and Video Documentation
Design and Printing
Content Creation and Editing
Translation of Content into Various Languages
Multimedia IEC Materials Development
Interactive Training Materials
These services will support Kudumbashree NRO's efforts in developing learning materials, including videos, booklets, case studies, training materials, and more.
Duration of Empanelment:
The empanelment will be for a period of three years, subject to periodic evaluation of performance. Based on performance, the empanelment may be extended further.
Application Process:
Interested agencies are requested to submit their Technical Proposals following the Terms of Reference (ToR) available on the Kudumbashree NRO website. The proposals will be subject to a technical evaluation conducted by Kudumbashree NRO.

Notification - vacancy - Assistant Programme Manager - Kudumbashree NRO
Kudumbashree – State Poverty Eradication Mission is a National Resource Organization (NRO) For providing technical and implementation support to other States in India as part of DAY NRLM. As the NRO, Kudumbashree will share its expertise and best practices with other States and help them develop interventions in the following domains.
- Convergence between local governments and community organisations (Convergence domain)
- Community-based enterprise support (Enterprises domain)

Positions for which applications are invited:
1. Assistant Programme Manager (Enterprises)- Number of vacancy – 2

Position – Assistant Programme Manager (Total No. of positions: 3)
Assistant Programme Managers are responsible for co-ordination of all activities within the respective thematic areas under Convergence and Enterprises domains. The areas for which vacancies are being notified are:
I. Assistant Programme Manager (Enterprises)
Number of Positions: 2
Role Overview As an APM-Enterprises, you will play a pivotal role in driving Kudumbashree NRO's entrepreneurship initiatives. You'll design scalable enterprise models, provide technical guidance to SRLMs to design and implement different projects, and pioneer community based initiatives. Your strategic insights and leadership will be crucial in enhancing the scale, sustainability, and impact of these programs.
Responsibilities
1. Spearhead Enterprise Programmes: Lead the design and implementation of diverse initiatives, from various Non Farm programs under NRLM to innovative community based enterprise models.
2. Technical Expertise: Provide high-level support to NRLM and SRLMs, setting national benchmarks in enterprise promotion.
3. Strategic Partnerships: Foster collaborations and partnerships with state governments and agencies to replicate different models.
4. Team Leadership: Mentor and guide team members, evolving their roles to meet emerging challenges.
5. Performance Analytics: Use data-driven insights to enhance program impact and sustainability.
6. Innovation Hub: Identify and pilot new enterprise opportunities, especially in community-based sectors
Qualification and Experience
1. Masters in Management, Rural Management, Business Administration, Development, Social Work, Public Administration from an institution of repute like TISS, APU, IITs, IIMs, IRMA.
2. Four years of post-qualification experience handling the portfolio of enterprise promotion, at state or national level, working with State Rural Livelihood Missions (SRLMs), National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), National Resource Organisation (NRO), a Programme Implementation Agency (PIA) under NRLM.
3. Preference will be given for candidates with demonstrated experience in promoting women’s enterprises in at least one sector with potential for growth.
4. Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
5. Willingness to work anywhere in India.
II. Assistant Programme Manager (Convergence)
Number of Position: 1
Role Overview
As an APM-Convergence, you will play a pivotal role in the universalisation of the convergence among Panchayati Raj Institutions, line departments and the Community Based Organisation of women self help group members under NRLM, which will bring benefits to the community and support SRLMs in extending the coverage. You’ll also develop strategies for materialising the demand plan of the NRLM SHG community (VPRP) , and provide technical guidance to the SRLMs. Your strategic insights and leadership will be crucial in enhancing the scale, sustainability, and impact of these programs.
Responsibilities
1. Spearhead Convergence Domain: Lead the design and implementation of the universalisation of PRI-CBO convergence programme.
2. Technical Expertise: Provide high-level support to NRLM and SRLMs, in KS/NRO/F254/2021 I/122075/2024 universalisation of PRI-CBO convergence and VPRP implementation.
3. Strategic Partnerships: Foster collaborations with state governments and agencies to customise and replicate different models based on Kudumbashree NRO's experiences.
4. Team Leadership: Mentor and guide team members, evolving their roles to meet emerging challenges.
5. Performance Analytics: Use data-driven insights to enhance program impact and sustainability.
6. Innovation Hub: Develop effective and innovative models under universalization of PRI-CBO convergence, VPRP and social inclusion by assessing the requirement of the blocks/ districts/ states.
Qualification and Experience
1. Masters in Management, Rural Management, Business Administration, Development, Social Work, Public Administration from an institution of repute like TISS, APU, IITs, IIMs, IRMA.
2. Four years of post-qualification experience in in handling programmes relating to PRI-CBO convergence, social development and social inclusion, at a state or national level, working with State Rural Livelihood Missions (SRLMs), National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), National Resource Organisation (NRO), any other Technical Service Provider under NRLM.
3. Preference will be given to candidates with experience of working with women Self Help Groups and Panchayti Raj Institutions.
4. Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
5. Willingness to work from anywhere in India
Age Limit: 35 years or below as of 31st May 2024
Terms of appointment
The appointment to all the above positions shall be on annual contract basis. The contract may be renewed, subject to review of performance of the incumbent and continuation of the NRO Project. Consolidated monthly remuneration fixed according to the pay details as approved will be paid.
Commitment to Tenure
Selected candidates are required to commit to a compulsory stay of 2 years following their selection.

Position for which applications are invited:
1. State Project Coordinator (SPC) - PRI-CBO Convergence Job Description: The position is to provide technical support to State Rural Livelihood Missions (SRLM) having partnership with Kudumbashree NRO under PRI-CBO Convergence. The SPC will be required to interact with different stakeholders (like line departments, Community Based Organisations/ federations, Local Self Government representatives and mentors (experienced personnel from Kerala deployed in partner states) of the project and develop innovative and suitable models for the SRLM. The SPC shall be the nodal person from NRO for communication with the State Mission Management Unit of the partner SRLM. The post will be based in the capital of any Partner State/UT across the country.
The SPC is expected to:
- Support SRLMs in liaising with other stakeholders at the State Level
- Develop a monitoring mechanism for the State
- Document impact stories and best practices in the State
- Develop the content of modules, IEC materials for project activities.
- Assist the mentors for all field-level activities.
- Conduct/ manage workshops on the PRI-CBO Convergence project.
- Develop key strategies for the implementation of the project
- Travel frequently within the implementing districts/ blocks/ immersions sites of the partner state.
Qualifications:
Master's in social work, Management, Rural Management, Development, Public Administration, or Community Development or an equivalent course from – Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Azim Premji University, Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), Indian Institutes of Management \ (IIM), Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), Delhi School of Social Work or Institutes of similar repute Fresh graduates meeting the relevant criteria can apply.
- Professionals with work experience may also apply, provided they have completed their post-graduation after March 2022.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hindi & English
- Proficiency in regional languages such as Tamil, Telugu, or Kannada will be considered a significant advantage
- Willingness to travel extensively for work.

Notification for Selection of Senior Interns (Social Development) PRI CBO Convergence.
Kudumbashree National Resource Organisation (Kudumbashree NRO) is looking for Senior Interns for a six-month engagement on a national project under the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. Selected candidates would be trained by Kudumbashree, State Poverty Eradication Mission of the Government of Kerala, which is a National Resource Organisation for the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM). Candidates, on completion of training would work closely with Kudumbashree NRO
supporting a national programme for six months.
Responsibilities
1. To function as frontline support personnel for answering queries raised by the States implementing the programme mentioned above, online and over phone.
2. To apply a problem-solving approach, responding to the queries as well as escalating those needed to appropriate levels as directed by the Programme Management Unit.
3. Closely work with the Programme Management Unit at Kudumbashree NRO and with the National Mission Management Unit of NRLM to generate reports based on the data entered by the States in the MIS applications supporting the programme.

Stipend
Selected Senior Interns will get a consolidated monthly stipend of Rs 30,000/- for six months.
Follow up
Senior Interns completing the term successfully will be provided with a certificate by Kudumbashree National Resource Organisation.

Project Title: Documentation of Exemplary Practices in Non-Farm Livelihood Initiatives
Introduction:
Kudumbashree National Resource Organisation (NRO) has been instrumental in implementing non-farm livelihood projects across various partner states, funded by the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM). Building on the successful experiences from Kerala, Kudumbashree NRO aims to document exemplary practices in non-farm livelihood initiatives undertaken in the state. These initiatives encompass sustainability of Block Resource Centres (BRC), Community Resource Person for Enterprises Promotion (CRP EP) and Community-based marketing.
Objective:
The primary objective of this assignment is to meticulously capture the processes and details of each initiative for creating comprehensive learning materials. These materials, in the form of videos will serve as a valuable knowledge base for sharing with NRLM, State Rural Livelihood Missions (SRLMs), and a wider audience for future replication and improvement.
Scope of Work:
The documentation process will span across four districts of Kerala, namely Kasargod, Wayanad, Idukki, Alappuzha and in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The selected agency will be responsible for capturing the processes of each initiative in a professional manner, ensuring all relevant details are comprehensively covered.
Key Deliverables:
- From Kerala
3 High-quality video documentation highlighting the processes and practices of each initiative.
60—70 High resolution photographs of different stakeholders and enterprises
- Form Rajasthan
