Internship with Kudumbahsree offer a unique opportunity for a valuable learning experinece outside the classroom setting for students. It provides exposure to various socio-economic development and women empowerment initiatives implemeneted by Kudumbashree for the poor. It helps students in connecting their theoretical knowledge with the practical experiences provided through their stay in various rural settings/panchayats in Kerala, interactions with PRI and CBO representatives and exposure to various convergence and livelihood initiatives. Internship opportnities are provided to students from premier insitutions and are supported by placing them under a mentor who is responsible for guiding the student throughout their practicum. The students are expected to share their reflections and learnings at the end of their internship program.
