- Minimum two years of experience in working with the SHG network after completion of post-graduation as of September 1st, 2023

Terms of appointment

Brief Description of responsibilities
The Accountant of the NRO will be responsible for all accounting and cash-related responsibilities
in the NRO Secretariat. Specific responsibilities include managing the tasks listed below.
- Maintenance of cash book, bank book, cheque books, vouchers and computerised
accounting
- Payment of rent for buildings, payment of salaries and wages, staff deductions related to
rent, telephone bill, advances etc., deduction and depositing of TDS, various legal and
statutory compliances
- Payment of travel advances to staff, scrutiny and passing of settlement claims, scrutiny and
passing of TA-DA claims, settlement of advances
- Payment of advances of Mentor Resource Persons to other States, scrutiny and passing of

- Preparation of utilisation certificates to partner States
- Travel to our partner states as per the requirements of the office

Eligibility Criteria
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (with at least 60% marks in aggregate)
Work Experience
- 5 years’ in the Accounts/Admin department of any reputed organisation (Out of which at least 1 year should be in a Chartered Accountants’ firm.)
- Experience in accounting with Government projects will be an added advantage.
Computer skills
- Working knowledge in Tally software is compulsory.
- Should have basic office documentation skills.
Languages
- Fluency in English language (both oral and written) is compulsory.
- Those with proficiency in Hindi language will be given preference.
