Kudumbashree National Resource Organisation (Kudumbashree NRO) is looking for Interns for a two-month engagement on a special project under the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of Kerala. Selected candidates would be trained by Kudumbashree, State Poverty Eradication Mission of the Government of Kerala, which is a National Resource Organisation for the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM). 

Responsibilities 

• Document the best practices from the field and develop process documents from 14 blocks of Kerala.
• Document best identified enterprises models from 14 blocks of Kerala. Support the Knowledge management team at Kudumbashree NRO in video documentation. 
• Closely work with the Monitoring and Knowledge management team at Kudumbashree NRO to develop standard documents.

• It will provide an opportunity to understand the non-farm programs at National level and community-based interventions in livelihood sector. 

Who can apply? 

• Post graduates in Social Work, Sociology, Management, Rural Management, Social Sciences, Journalism and Mass communication with experience. 
• The candidates should have high levels of fluency in English and native fluency in Malayalam. Having fluency in Hindi will be an added advantage  
• Candidates having prior understanding of SHG system and rural enterprises will have an added advantage 
• Candidate have zeal to work with community and explore rural Kerala 

Stipend 

• Selected Interns will get a consolidated monthly stipend of Rs 20,000/- per month.  

Follow up 

Interns completing the term successfully will be provided with a certificate by Kudumbashree National Resource Organisation.  

Selection Process

The applicants will be selected through a multi-stage selection process:

1. Short-listing of suitable candidates based on a review of the application in the prescribed format 
2. Analysing the linguistic skills
3. Personal Interviews for final selection

3. Write up justifying the suitability for internship (max 300 words) 
4. One sample document/ article/ small report prepared by the candidate demonstrating the documentation skills.
