Kafil has a diverse academic and professional background, having completed his Economics (Hons) at Jamia Millia Islamia before graduating from Azim Premji University with a degree in Development Studies. He has more than three years of experience working with Kudumbashree NRO, an organization dedicated to empowering women and increasing their participation in governance. During his work, he gained hands-on experience in community development and governance in various Indian states, as well as working with tribal groups, particularly in India’s north-east.
