Jerin Lijo is a social work professional with a Master’s degree in Social Work, specialising in Children and Families, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. With two years of experience teaching in underprivileged communities, Jerin brings strong on-ground exposure to working closely with children, families, and communities facing structural marginalisation.

Jerin’s work is informed by a strong caste- and gender-sensitive lens, recognising how intersecting social hierarchies shape access to rights, resources, and opportunities. He has hands-on experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders, programme planning and execution, project management, and large group facilitation. Jerin approaches community practice with a critical, justice-oriented perspective, centring equity, inclusion, and lived realities in all interventions.
