Signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nagaland
Following the successful implementation of the PRI-CBO Convergence Universalisation Phase-I from September 2023 to May 2025, executed in partnership with the Kudumbashree National Resource Organisation (KS-NRO) for technical support. The Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM) has transitioned into an extension phase. The Ministry of Rural Development has extended the project for an additional nine months for the financial year 2026–2027. Strategic interventions include extensive capacity building for NSRLM mission staff, alongside cascading refresher training for existing community cadres such as District Resource Persons (DRPs) and Local Resource Persons (LRPs) focusing on core convergence concepts, Social Action Committees (SAC), Citizens' Committees, VPRP integration, and monitoring mechanisms. These are designed to strengthen structural convergence among CBOs, local governance bodies, and various line departments.
